Spy photos of the high-performance version of the Xiaomi SU7 V8s have been exposed, equipped with aerodynamic kits and an upgraded braking system.

Recently, we obtained a set of spy photos of the high-performance version of the Xiaomi SU7 from foreign media. The new vehicle might be the model that was previously revealed to be equipped with the motor model V8s. Currently, it seems that the new vehicle is undergoing tests on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and the whole vehicle is installed with high-performance components.

Judging from the spy photos, although the new vehicle still has camouflage stickers attached, its overall design doesn’t differ much from that of the ordinary version of the Xiaomi SU7. It can be seen that a baffle for active aerodynamics has been newly added to the position below the front lip, and there aren’t many other major changes.

From the side view, the new vehicle still maintains the design and shape of the Xiaomi SU7 sedan. It is also equipped with 21-inch large-sized wheels and P ZERO R high-performance tires from Pirelli. Among them, the specification of the rear tires reaches 305/35 ZR21. Moreover, the new vehicle has also upgraded its braking system, adopting fixed calipers with six pistons at the front and four pistons at the rear. The rear wheels are also equipped with split electronic parking brakes, and the brake discs are perforated to further enhance the heat dissipation effect.

At the rear of the vehicle, it is obvious that a large-sized rear spoiler has been added to increase the downforce on the rear axle when taking high-speed corners. There aren’t many changes in other aspects of the design. It still features a through-type taillight group paired with a rear diffuser decorative panel, making the whole vehicle look more aggressive.

The high-performance version of the Xiaomi SU7 being tested at the Nürburgring will be equipped with a rear-mounted motor of model V8s and a front-mounted motor of model V6s. The combined power will exceed 900 horsepower. Among them, the maximum power of the V8s can reach 425 kW, with a maximum torque of 635 N·m, a power density of up to 10.14 kW/kg, and a maximum efficiency of 98.11%. The Xiaomi Super Motor V8s can reach a maximum rotational speed of 27,200 rpm, with an intensity as high as 960 MPa. According to the previous installation plan for this motor, it is expected that the Xiaomi SU7 V8s version will be officially released and launched in 2025.
