The application pictures of the compact SUV Leapmotor B10 have been released, and it is expected to be launched next year.
In the latest catalogue of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, we found the application information for the brand-new compact SUV under the Leapmotor brand – the Leapmotor B10. This new vehicle is expected to be officially launched in 2025, focusing on the highly competitive market segment priced between 100,000 and 150,000 yuan. Leapmotor’s medium and long-term plan is to create popular models and solidify its position in the market with the largest market capacity. To enhance its competitiveness, Leapmotor plans to equip the B-series and C-series models with its self-developed end-to-end large-model intelligent driving systems in 2025.
The Leapmotor B10 features a closed front grille design. On both sides, it is equipped with split-type headlight groups. There is a through-type LED daytime running light on the top, and the low and high beam headlight groups are located below. The rectangular air intake at the bottom of the front of the vehicle and the styling of the diversion channels on both sides jointly create a strong sense of sportiness. The body dimensions of the Leapmotor B10 are 4515 mm in length, 1885 mm in width, 1655 mm in height, and it has a wheelbase of 2735 mm.
At the rear of the vehicle, the Leapmotor B10 adopts the popular design of a through-type taillight group. The irregular intermittent design on both sides adds a sense of technology. The English logo “LEAPMOTOR” of Leapmotor is marked on the lower part of the taillight, and a high-mounted stop lamp is equipped on the upper part of the rear of the vehicle.
In terms of power, the new vehicle is equipped with two drive motors. One is the TZ180XS101 from CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 132 kW, and it is equipped with the lithium iron phosphate battery from Sunwoda Power. The other is the TZ180XY005 from Jinhua Lingsheng, with a maximum power of 160 kW, and it is equipped with the lithium iron phosphate battery from Jiangsu Zhenli New Energy. All models are optionally equipped with lidar.
The Leapmotor B10 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and lidar to achieve intelligent driving assistance with voice large models and end-to-end large models. In addition, the new vehicle will also adopt a multi-in-one intelligent electric drive system and the CTC (Cell to Chassis) battery chassis integration technology. It is expected that the pure electric driving range will exceed 600 kilometers.
